The Law Conclave is a being developed as a non-commercial website to bring together law professionals, law students, and the informed citizens to understand and discuss different aspects of law; the main focus, however, is economic laws. The conclave believes that when experts share their insights they, in turn, get to deepen them rather than losing their competitive edge in legal practice. Participation is by becoming a member, which is free. Please log in and contribute to the forums. The public can access our documents but only members can initiate discussions or participate in them. The topics must be in any aspect of laws.
This conclave is an initiative of Sujit K Sinha, Advocate and tax law teacher. Member of the Indian Revenue Service (Customs and Excise), he served as Chief Departmental Representative for Department of Revenue in the Customs Excise and Service Tax Appellate Tribunal. He has vast experience in Indirect Taxes and created an Internship programme for law students in his office the Departmental Representation Office besides organising round table conferences on important issues of law with leading law experts as resource persons. He has written extensively many of his articles are uplinked to the legal resource section of the web site.
